What You'll Do:

• Lead and inspire young learners using Kiddie Academy’s Life Essentials curriculum
• Create engaging lesson plans and ensure a fun, safe, and clean classroom environment
• Foster social, academic, and emotional growth for each child
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in team-building events and staff meetings
• Maintain classroom equipment and ensure it’s in top shape
• Support children through daily activities, meals, and clean-up
• Keep communication open with families and attend academy events
• Take on new challenges and grow with us, whether that’s stepping up to lead the classroom or participating in workshops!

What We’re Looking For:

DCFS Lead Teacher Requirements:

• Total of 60 college credit hours with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR a total of 30 college credit hours with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with 1,560 clock hours (1 year) working in a licensed child care facility OR equivalent Child Development Associate Certification (CDA)
