Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, organized, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the doctor and team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Take accurate dental X-rays (must be certified as required by state)
• Perform digital scanning for crown preparations
• Fabricate temporary crowns with precision
• Pack retraction cord effectively
• Prepare and break down operatories for procedures
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Manage and track inventory on a weekly basis
• Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked and organized
• Provide excellent chairside assistance and anticipate doctor’s needs
• Deliver outstanding patient care and help create a comfortable, positive experience
• Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene, and post-op care
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum [3] years of dental assisting experience (lead experience preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Proficiency in digital dentistry workflows (scanning, crown prep support)
• Strong skills in temporary crown fabrication and cord packing
• Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and setups
• X-ray certification (as required by state)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
