Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dynamic Lead Dental Assistant to join our state-of-the-art dental practice. Our office specializes in advanced procedures including dental implants, cone beam CT imaging and cutting edge restorative techniques including CEREC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Scan, design and manufacture CEREC crowns.
• Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Utilize infection control protocols to maintain a clean and sterile environment.
• Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, and other relevant areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of Cerec software.
• Knowledge of Dentrix software.
• Knowledge and experience with acquiring dental x-rays using Dexis software.
• Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards.
• Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, including endodontics and oral surgery.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
