The Lead Employment Coach is at the forefront of a program designed to assist unemployed service members and their spouses. It manages a team of employment coaches, ensuring they provide exceptional support and guidance to job seekers. The role involves direct engagement with clients, offering a comprehensive suite of options including employment, educational, and apprenticeship opportunities. It ensures consistent communication with clients through bi-weekly check-ins and will document all support services provided.

Lead a team of employment coaches in providing career services to unemployed service members and their spouses, ensuring a high level of support and customer satisfaction.

Conduct bi-weekly team conference calls and provide ongoing training to maintain a high standard of service and address team performance.

Provide direct support to job seekers by evaluating their needs and presenting employment, education, and apprenticeship options.

Maintain bi-weekly contact with all assigned job seekers to offer continuous support, document assistance provided, and follow up on their progress.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and unit leadership to identify job opportunities and gather essential employment data.

Oversee and maintain the team's database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on job seekers and employers.

Analyze team performance, develop improvement plans, and update relevant literature and briefing materials to enhance service delivery.

Participate in team and individual calls with key stakeholders, providing updates on event schedules and project status.

Generate and submit required reports and plans (such as Quality Control Plans and Social Media Model Plans) as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Ensure all deliverables and performance requirements are met according to the PWS.

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in acquisition life cycle activities/management.

Four-year degree in business, science, technical or related discipline.

Ability to use Microsoft Suite of software applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) to create and maintain documents and communications.

Secret Clearance Required
