Lead Esthetician/Spa Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Esthetician/Spa Supervisor to oversee our spa operations and provide exceptional skincare and beauty services. This leadership role requires a professional with a strong background in esthetics, management, and customer service to ensure a luxurious guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of advanced skincare treatments, retail sales, and spa management software, while demonstrating excellent communication skills and a passion for the beauty industry. As a key team leader, you will motivate staff, maintain high sanitation standards, and promote our services through social media and product demos.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the spa team to deliver outstanding esthetic services including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, laser treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair threading, makeup application, and nail care.
• Manage daily spa operations, including scheduling appointments via Millennium or MINDBODY software and front desk duties.
• Oversee sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.
• Provide training and mentorship to estheticians and spa staff on new treatments, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
• Drive retail sales through upselling skincare products and promoting service packages during guest interactions.
• Manage social media accounts to enhance brand visibility by posting content related to treatments, product demos, client testimonials, and special promotions.
• Coordinate with vendors for product demos and inventory management to ensure availability of high-quality skincare products.
• Handle guest inquiries professionally while delivering personalized recommendations based on individual skin types and concerns.
• Maintain guest records accurately using salon or spa management software such as Millennium or SpaSoft.
• Support marketing initiatives by participating in community events or hosting promotional events within the spa.

Skills

• Proven management experience within a spa or salon environment with strong leadership abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of esthetic treatments including laser therapy, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox injections, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair styling, nail care, and facial treatments.
• Proficiency with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Experience with social media management to engage clients and promote services effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards in a spa setting to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of makeup application techniques and color theory for beauty consultations.
• Familiarity with advanced procedures like med spa treatments including botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers is preferred.
• Experience in retail sales strategies within the beauty industry.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating hospitality excellence.
