SUMMARY
Develops, interprets, and supports implementing complex financial operations, accounting and financial modeling concepts, or techniques for financial operations, control, planning and decision making by performing the following duties:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors and performs on back-up basis the daily reconciliation of cash disbursement to retailers and rFinance by lenders. This includes following up with stakeholders such as the tech team, lenders, retailers and accounting, investigating differences to ensure disbursements are accurate. To do this accurately and efficiently, data validation needs to be performed and the reconciliation spreadsheet needs to be maintained and improved as rFinance scales its operation. This will require the development and maintenance of complex spreadsheets, models, and data validation processes.

Responsible for the period-end accounting close process, including journal entries account reconciliations and periodic accruals. To do so, the analyst will analyze revenue, operating expenses, and selling, general and administrative expenses (SGA) to ensure accurate and complete accounting of the financial performance of rFinance. This also includes working with business partners on financial analysis and departmental budgets/forecasts. This includes audit readiness responsibilities that support the accounting close through providing documentation that ensure transparency and compliance throughout the close process.

Monitors the monthly service fee billing process in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure retailer and corporate accounting's expectations are met. To do this accurately and efficiently, data validation needs to be performed and the billing spreadsheet needs to be maintained as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Leads or assists in cross-functional projects to support the rFinance business in meeting its goals and objectives.

Support enterprise financial planning via budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in enterprise performance management software; lead business case reviews, performance tracking, and target setting through financial modeling and process management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred, seven or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in financial systems, Excel, and Power BI.
- Intermediate understanding of finance, accounting, business & data analytics concepts.
- Intermediate financial modeling and data analysis skills.
- Highly skilled in process improvement and automation, including connecting to and working with large data sets.
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $88,235 to $136,765.
