Job Title: Sr. Lead – General Ledger & Reporting
Location: Chennai, India
Reporting To: Assistant Manager / Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team with at least 3 years of experience in team management.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working shifts and on holidays, when required.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the General Ledger (GL) and Reporting team.
- Monitor team performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Conduct internal cross-training and knowledge sharing sessions for team members and new joiners.
- Motivate and guide team members to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct biannual staff appraisals and create performance improvement plans.
- Uphold high ethical and moral standards in all operations.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ensure process control and compliance, avoiding any lapses in execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accounting (mandatory).
- Master’s Degree / CA Inter / CWA Inter preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team of two or more members.
- 8–12 years of experience in General Ledger and Reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of GL, Reporting, and internal control mechanisms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Proven record in process improvement initiatives.
- Experienced in stakeholder management and business communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
