The Lead Housekeeper’s responsibilities are but not limited to:
Responsibilities:

Seeking a detail-oriented person to coordinate, delegate tasks and special projects for the housekeeping staff under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, pleasant physical environment.

Respond promptly to requests from supervisor and other departments.

Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.

Enter areas following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.

Replace dirty linens as needed, make beds, clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen.

Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.

Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings, vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor.
Experience and Skills:

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

No formal education is required, hotel and hospital desirable with at least a high school education.

Must be team oriented person with great computer and communication skills.

Able to maintain quality customer relations with residents, families, and staff.

Must enjoy and be compassionate with the elderly population.

Able to meet physical requirements for the job.

Able to work independently.
