Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in system integration testing and test automation using Playwright. The ideal candidate should be capable of analysing complex systems, ensuring quality through rigorous testing, and collaborating effectively within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Create and maintain test suites for functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios, and execute tests against defined requirements.

• Document and maintain detailed test results and related QA documentation.

• Perform API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with the team to ensure timely resolution.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, practices, and automation frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and overall quality objectives.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

Essential

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

• Clear communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and Swagger.

• Expertise in Agile methodologies and data testing.

• Proven test automation experience using Playwright with TypeScript.

• QA experience in software development using C# / .NET technologies.

• Experience working with GitHub and Docker.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.

• Test automation experience using C# with Selenium.

• Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-based tools for testing.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

Technical Skills

• Automation Frameworks: Playwright (TypeScript), Selenium

• API Testing Tools: Postman, Swagger

• Project / Test Management Tools: Jira

• Programming Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, C#

• IDE / Version Control: Visual Studio Code, GitHub
