SAP SD, S/4HANA - OTC Consultant

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• 7+ years of relevant experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant on complex, multi-project engagements including core template design, implementation, rollout, and support

• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA

• Strong configuration expertise in SAP SD, including:

  • Sales Order Types, Delivery Types

  • Item Categories, Copy Control

  • Pricing and Contract Management

  • Billing Types, Output Determination

  • Text Determination and Packing Proposals

• Strong functional expertise in Order Management, Pricing, Contracts, and Logistics Execution

• Mandatory hands-on experience with the following processes:

  • Delivery Scheduling

  • ATP and Transfer of Requirements (TOR)

  • Third-Party Sales Order Processing

  • Intercompany Sales

  • Make-to-Order (MTO) Processing

  • Stock Transport Orders (STOs) and Cross-Company STOs

  • IDoc Processing

  • Picking and Packing

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes

• Hands-on customizing experience managing OTC processes in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA

• Experience designing and configuring SAP S/4HANA SD solutions to meet business requirements

• Ability to analyze business requirements and propose optimal SAP-based solutions

• Experience preparing functional specifications (RICEF/WRICEF) and collaborating with development and integration teams

• Strong knowledge of OTC master data objects and data migration concepts

Good-to-Have

• Experience with additional OTC subprocesses such as Pricing, Logistics, DSD, and Accounts Receivable

• DSD experience

• Strong understanding of OTC integration patterns, including real-time vs batch processing, interface trigger points, and error-handling mechanisms

• Knowledge of SAP security concepts, global role design, and GRC best practices

• Experience handling SAP OSS issues and managing break-fix activities

• Understanding of SAP project testing phases and exposure to test automation tools

• Familiarity with tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or similar ALM tools

• Strong communication, influencing, facilitation, and consulting skills

• Ability to solve highly complex problems and adapt quickly to changing timelines and priorities

• Flexibility to work across varying business hours based on project needs
