Export:
- Leading the Export/Import Dept.
- Planning of Shipments.
- Initiate the booking to forwarder for respective bookings after coordination with BM.
- Getting MOS from Buyer and Coordinate with Forwarder with respect to MOS for CRO (Sea Shipment) and Flight Booking (Air Shipments).
- Preparation of Pre-Shipment Documents (Form E / Tentative Formats)
- Executing and tracking the Shipment from Beginning till the End along with Preparation of Documents (GD, Invoice, Packing Lists, Final Formats etc.)
- Following up with Asst. to make sure about sending of Documents to bank and buyer timely.
- Tracking and Keep record of Buyer Payments / Debit Notes / Credit Notes.
- Follow-up with ECP for Shipment related issues, executions, payments etc.
- Trouble Shooting Exports and Logistics related issues from Beginning till the End.
Import:
- Arrange and process advance payments to buyers and follow up for acknowledgments.
- Correspond with supplier regarding goods details, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Arrange forwarders, provide booking details, and coordinate shipment arrangements.
- Prepare and submit import documentation to the bank for Financial Instrument (F.I.) approval.
- Provide customs agents with required documents, including Undertakings and Indemnity Bonds, for shipment clearance.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, banking procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain records and manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Experience
· Minimum 3 to 5 years of Experience preferably in an Export Oriented Garment Company
Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of export-oriented garment factory accounts
· Proficiency in ERP/accounting software
· Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
· High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
