Lead Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for infants. Duties

  • Design and execute innovative lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth for infants
  • Lead classroom activities that promote toddler care, behavior management, and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and childcare standards
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and individualized care plans
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment aligned with childcare regulations and best practices in childhood development
  • Implement Montessori or other specialized educational approaches to enhance early childhood learning experiences
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of children's growth using standardized testing methods where appropriate and adjust lesson plans accordingly

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments
  • Strong background in curriculum development tailored for infants and toddlers
  • Experience with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles, classroom management practices, and child welfare standards
  • Prior leadership experience as a lead teacher or senior educator preferred
  • Knowledge of teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
