The Role:
As our Infant Teacher, you’ll work closely with a co-teacher and a supportive leadership team to create a safe, joyful, and enriching classroom for infants.

You'll guide infants through their critical first steps in learning—supporting language, social-emotional development, early independence, and a love for exploration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based activities
  • Observe and document children’s learning and milestones
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training and reflection

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for early childhood education and a deep respect for young children
  • North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and positive guidance techniques
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
