Lead Infant Teachers are required to provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that aids in the physical, social, and emotional development of infants. This requires individuals to have efficient and purposeful organization skills. Lead Infant caregivers are responsible for overseeing, implementing, and evaluating the classroom program and individual child assessments, this requires thorough communication with staff and parents daily. Lead Teachers are responsible for overseeing support caregiving staff and overall care of the children. All caregiving staff are expected to be a team player who contributes a positive attitude to our community.

Lead Infant Teacher must be :

  • 19 years of age
  • Have received either a high school diploma or GED
  • Have 12 semester hours (4.5 hrs specific to Infant/Toddler Child Development) or 18 CEU's of coursework in Early Childhood Education/Development from an accredited school/source
  • Minimum of 960-3,840 hours of experience
