Lead Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

  • Implevent curriculum plans that promote early literacy, physical development, and social-emotional growth for infants.
  • Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
  • Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices with sensitivity to each child's needs.
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to support emotional regulation and social skills among infants.
  • Collaborate closely with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and tailor care plans for individual children.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality classroom management and childcare standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols, emergency procedures, and licensing requirements related to childcare and early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with infants in a classroom or daycare setting; preschool or toddler care experience is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development focused on literacy education, or similar educational philosophies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while maintaining a warm and nurturing environment.
  • Certification in early childhood education or child development (such as CDA or state-specific credentials) is preferred.
