Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative Lead Interior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is excited to lead projects from concept through completion.

You will play a key role in shaping the design vision for high-end residential projects while also contributing to boutique commercial work. As a leader within the design team, you will mentor junior designers, collaborate closely with architecture and construction teams, and ensure every project reflects both creative excellence and real-world buildability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead interior design projects from initial concept through final installationDevelop thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically compelling design solutionsCollaborate with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and goalsWork closely with architects, estimators, and project managers to align design with budget and construction feasibilityOversee material selections, finishes, fixtures, and furnishingsProduce and review drawings, presentations, and specificationsGuide clients through a structured, organized design processMentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environmentParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and site visitsEnsure designs are executed accurately and maintain design intent throughout construction.

Qualifications:

10-15 years of experience in residential interior design (design-build experience preferred)Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential work (boutique commercial a plus)Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similarExceptional eye for detail, materials, and spatial planningStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork and problem-solving.
