Lead Landscaper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Landscaper to oversee and execute comprehensive landscaping projects, ensuring the highest standards of outdoor aesthetics and functionality. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and general gardening activities
• Manage construction activities related to landscape installations, including hardscaping, planting beds, and outdoor structures
• Conduct tree care operations such as pruning, trimming, and health assessments to promote healthy growth
• Implement horticultural best practices for soil preparation, fertilization, pest control, and sustainable landscaping techniques
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and used safely by team members
• Lead training sessions on landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and new industry standards to foster team development

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance environments
• Extensive background in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture practices
• Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping and planting beds
• Familiarity with tree care techniques including pruning and health assessments
• Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and equipment maintenance procedures

Pay: $22.41 - $27.60 per hour
