Lead Mechanic

Location(s): 14420 County Rd 5 Burnsville, MN

Shifts: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Pay: $35-$40/hour depending on experience.

What you'll do:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light and medium-duty paratransit vehicles

• Lead daily shop operations by prioritizing work orders and coordinating workflow

• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to mechanics and technicians

• Ensure compliance with DOT, FTA, FMCSA and company safety standards

• Assist with training and onboarding of new technicians

• Monitor vehicle downtime, quality of repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules

• Partner with leadership to improve processes, efficiency, and fleet reliability

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of fleet, Ford, or GM mechanical experience

• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

• ASE certification(s)

• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to delegate, coach, and support team members

Requirements:

• Valid MN Driver's License

• DOT Medical Certificate (can be obtained after offer is given)

• Be able to work independently and on a team

• Strong communication and leadership skills
