Full Time, Nights
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs all duties of a Medical Technologist in the section/shift to which the individual is assigned. In the absence of the section/shift supervisor, performs additional supervisory duties; accepts full responsibility for the respective section/shift production of accurate, timely laboratory results. Assists laboratory administration with troubleshooting C.Q.I. incidents, arranging staff coverage, etc. Demonstrates commitment and accountability for implementation, communications, and monitoring of the Compliance Program. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Associate degree in medical technology or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
Must hold a current Florida Technologist’s license in the respective specialty(ies).
Experience:
Minimum Experience Five (5) years experience in the respective specialty( ies).
