Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead NDT/Welding Engineer (Level II certified) to manage and supervise welding and NDT inspection activities at our Kochi site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and extensive field experience in mechanical/metallurgical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all NDT operations (UT, RT, PT, MT, VT) as per project requirements and standards.
- Supervise welding operations and manage WPS, PQR, and welder qualification procedures.
- Review engineering drawings, welding maps, and material specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, IS).
- Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal quality teams.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, quality documents, and NDT records.
- Monitor fabrication, erection, and welding processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and NDT technicians.
- Ensure full compliance with quality management systems and HSE requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy (Mandatory).
- 10–12 years of experience in welding engineering, NDT inspection, fabrication, or heavy industry.
- NDT Level II Certification (ASNT/PCN) in UT, MT, PT (RT will be an added advantage).
- Strong understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW).
- Knowledge of international codes & standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
