Lead Product Validation Engineer – Co Ex

Key Responsibilities
Lead the validation of co-existence scenarios involving multiple components (processor, memory, clock, connectivity, etc.) in smart wearables.

• Design and execute test plans to evaluate aggressor-victim combinations and their impact on system performance.
• Map real-world end-user use cases to technical validation scenarios, ensuring system robustness under practical conditions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot interference issues at both board level and final form factor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, RF, product) to drive root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for test methodologies, results, and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to co-existence and system validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the validation team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product validation, system integration, or hardware testing, preferably in consumer electronics or wearables.
• Deep understanding of co-existence challenges, aggressor-victim analysis, and system-level validation.
• Experience with board-level and form factor validation.
• Strong knowledge of processor, memory, clock, and connectivity interactions.
• Proficiency with test equipment and debugging tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart wearables or similar compact consumer devices.
• Familiarity with RF, EMI/EMC, and system-level performance testing.
• Experience mapping user scenarios to technical validation requirements.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.

• Lead validation efforts that directly impact product quality and user satisfaction.
