Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Lead service and project execution activities for DCS, ESD and FGS systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project standards.

Implement, commission, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components of Yokogawa Centum VP and ProSafe-RS systems.
-
Prepare, review, and finalize Safety Validation Plans, Functional Design Specifications, and related engineering documentation.

Conduct scope analysis, site surveys, and review customer specifications and RFQs to define project and service requirements.
-
Develop technical and commercial proposals, including BOMs, system architecture, and compliance documentation.
-
Coordinate and manage kick-off meetings, purchase order reviews, and engineering change controls.

Prepare detailed engineering documents such as:
-
IOM loading
-
System cable schedules
-
GA/IA drawings
-
Heat and power calculations
-
Wiring diagrams
-
FAT/SAT plans and procedures
-
Application logic generation (FBD and SFC) in Centum VP and Prosafe-RS
-
Design and review panel room layouts, cable routing plans, and cable engineering for power, control, and signal circuits.

Develop interconnection drawings from field instruments to DCS/ESD/FGS I/O cards, including signal conditioning for MCCs, HT, VFDs, etc.

Lead and support system inspections, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities for DCS and ESD systems.

Provide post-project technical support, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system maintenance.

Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, QC teams, and internal departments to resolve technical issues and ensure engineering quality.

Regularly report project and service progress to management, highlighting risks, milestones, and corrective actions.
Qualification and Experience:
-
Minimum 5 to 12 Years’ experience in Projects detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing team of Yokogawa DCS & Prosafe as per the Project specification requirements.

Graduate in Engineering – Process Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics.
-
Experience of handling brownfield projects and after-sales service.

Field project execution and site experience is mandatory

Skills:

High and complete Knowledge of entire Hardware & software of all Yokogawa DCS -CS3000/CVP, & ESD-Prosafe RS systems.

Good Knowledge of all related third-party components used in Yokogawa system.

Very good communication and presentation skills.

Developing and maintaining good relationships with clients.

Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications including MS Project.

Good Problem solving, strong Negotiation and reporting skills.

Work experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
