Lead SQA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing, test planning, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the QA process, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring product quality through both manual and automation testing. A good understanding of automation tools for mobile testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring timely execution of test cycles and project deliverables.
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test strategies for mobile and web applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing for mobile apps (Android & iOS) and ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through the entire defect lifecycle.
• Contribute to building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks using tools like Appium or similar frameworks.
• Conduct regression, integration, and system testing to maintain app stability and performance.
• Ensure QA best practices, continuous improvements, and process standardization across the team.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, offering quality insights during sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (Mobile & Web).
• Proven experience leading a QA team or managing QA processes independently.
• Strong understanding of mobile application testing (iOS & Android).
• Hands-on experience with test case design, bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello), and documentation.
• Exposure to automation testing, preferably using Appium, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Good understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience in performance testing or security testing.
• Knowledge of Playwright, TestNG, or Cucumber frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile testing methodologies and QA metrics.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
