Lead Structural Design Engineer (Arabic Speaker)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the structural design and analysis of projects.
• Oversee the preparation and review of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
• Diversified experience in multi-disciplinary projects, High rise, commercial, hotels, hospitality shopping Centers with big engineering consultancy firms.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop project requirements and design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Ensure that all designs and construction documents comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Review and respond to RFIs and change orders during construction phase
• Extensive experience with structural /civil analysis software, including RISA-3D, STAAD Pro and ETABS etc. and general business software
• UPDA / MMUP Grade A is mandatory.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in structural design engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Qatar (Mandatory)
• Extensive knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience with structural analysis and design software
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• MMUP Grade A is a must
• Prefer resident in Qatar with NOC

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per hour
