Lead Teacher

We are seeking a caring and experienced Lead Montessori Teacher to guide a prepared classroom environment that supports each child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain a prepared Montessori classroom
• Implement lessons and child-led learning
• Observe, assess, and document child progress
• Guide positive behavior using grace and courtesy
• Communicate with families and collaborate with staff
• Supervise assistant teachers

Qualifications:

• Montessori certification (AMI/AMS preferred but NOT required)
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in ECE or related field but NOT required
• Previous classroom experience
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Meets state licensing requirements
• Patient, calm, and nurturing demeanor
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Passion for early childhood education
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Commitment to professional growth
• Respect for diversity and inclusion
