You show up to a job, assess the situation, and take control:

Diagnose issues using tools and testing equipment

Identify root causes and implement lasting solutions

Ensure all work is completed to code and company standards
You’ll also:

Support and collaborate with technicians and apprentices

Communicate clearly with customers and leadership

Price jobs using flat-rate systems and collect payment
-
Document all work accurately and completely

Install, inspect, maintain, repair, and replace systems to code and specification
-
Diagnose complex system issues using tools and testing equipment
-
Adjust, repair, and replace defective components and reassemble systems
-
Perform preventative maintenance and quality inspections
-
Ensure all work meets safety, regulatory, and company standards
-
Read and interpret blueprints and system designs
-
Calculate pricing using flat-rate system and handle payment collection
-
Maintain detailed documentation of work, materials, and system conditions
-
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
-
Support and collaborate with junior technicians and team members
-
Respond to service calls and manage workflow efficiently
-
Follow and enforce safety protocols in the field

EPA Certification (required)
-
Valid driver’s license
-
High school diploma or equivalen
-
Trade school (completed or in progress per state requirements)
-
3+ years of hands-on HVAC or trade experience (elevated expectation for lead role)
-
Strong diagnostic and advanced troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to lead, guide, and support other technicians
-
Familiar with local and national codes and regulations
-
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
-
Strong communication and leadership presence

Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working in all conditions

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Earn up to $80,000/year (based on experience — no guesswork)
