Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress.
- Collaborate with parents to support children's learning and well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Lead daily circle time and group activities to encourage social interaction.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or toddler setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in childcare.
- Flexible, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children.
