Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning, sensory exploration, and social interaction.
- Design and implement age-appropriate curricula that support physical, emotional, cognitive, and language growth in toddlers.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, independence, and respectful interactions among children.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and develop individualized care plans when needed.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high-quality classroom management and instructional standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development milestones, daily activities, and any incidents or observations relevant to their well-being.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in toddler care.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging yet disciplined environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and community partners.
- Prior experience in childcare roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial but not required.
