Lead Toddler Teacher

Signing Bonus up to $1500.00! Child's Play of St. Cloud MN, Inc. has an immediate and exciting opportunity for an energetic, qualified Lead Toddler Teacher! Come and make a difference in the lives of young children in a beautiful, 4 Star Parent Aware Rated Center, following Parent Aware best practice and the Creative Curriculum in our Toddler Room!

Our ideal candidate must:

• Be energetic, outgoing, nurturing, and have a love of working with children!
• Handle stressful and challenging situations
• Be flexible and adapt to the needs of the children
• Be able to work Monday – Friday, 40+ hours a week between the hours of 6:30AM – 6:00PM, No evenings or weekends! We are closed 9 holidays

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Caring for children, always maintaining a safe environment by adhering to program policies and Licensing rule
• Implementing daily lesson plans, adapting for individual learning
• Observations and assessments
• Build a professional working relationship with parents and families
• Conducting parent teacher conferences
• Maintaining the necessary training to meet Parent Aware and licensing requirements
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the job: lifting up to 30lbs, getting up and down from the floor, move quickly
• Certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to become certified
• Be dependable and punctual
• Have excellent English and communication skills
• Direct Assistant Teachers and Aides in the room

Qualified Applicant must meet State of MN requirements for a teacher including the necessary college credits and experience in a Childcare Center. This is a full-time position.
