Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning and structured educational routines.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with preschool standards and individual child needs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and educational practices.
- Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, documenting milestones and communicating with parents regularly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance strategies, fostering social skills and emotional regulation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health protocols, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, particularly with toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and caregiving techniques tailored for young children.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, team members, and community partners.
- Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play.
