Lead Toddler Teacher

Location: Pawtucket, RI 02860 - Beverage Hill Location

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team at our Beverage Hill location in Pawtucket, RI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the toddler classroom, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Observe and assess each child’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom in compliance with licensing regulations and center policies.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall goals of the center.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers and support staff in the toddler classroom.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a lead toddler teacher or in a similar early childhood education role.
• Strong knowledge of toddler development and best teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Relevant early childhood education credentials or certifications.
