Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the educational needs of children.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for students with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior among students.
- Foster effective communication with parents regarding child welfare and progress.
- Conduct standardized testing as required and provide tutoring support as needed.
- Maintain records of student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership skills.
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies and math concepts for young learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
