Lead Twos & Threes Teacher – $15–$16/hr plus Free Childcare

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the educational needs of children.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support for students with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior among students.
• Foster effective communication with parents regarding child welfare and progress.
• Conduct standardized testing as required and provide tutoring support as needed.
• Maintain records of student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership skills.
• Knowledge of literacy education strategies and math concepts for young learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
