We’re looking for a Lead Video Editor to own and elevate Solin’s short-form video content across organic social. This role will be primarily focused on Instagram to start, with YouTube, TikTok, and X as additional platforms we actively create for.

This is an in-office, full-time role for someone who works fast, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys building high-performing organic social content. You’ll work closely with our Head of Content and CEO to help shape how Solin shows up online.

What You’ll Do

Edit High-Performance Short-Form Content:

Edit engaging, scroll-stopping short-form videos optimized for organic social, with a primary focus on Instagram Reels and expansion to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X.

Move Fast & Ship Often:

Operate in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times, efficiently editing and delivering content on tight timelines.

Collaborate on Creative & Concepts:

Help generate content ideas, hooks, and concepts. Assist with script writing and structuring when needed to maximize engagement and retention.

Optimize for Social Platforms:

Edit content with a strong understanding of organic social best practices, trends, pacing, captions, and formats that perform.

Maintain Brand Quality:

Ensure all video content aligns with Solin’s brand, tone, and visual standards while continuously pushing quality higher.

What Your Background Should Look Like (Who You Are)

We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, has a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and takes pride in their work. You should be comfortable taking ownership, moving quickly, and collaborating closely with others.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience Level:

4+ years of professional video editing experience

Editing & Tools:

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience using Instagram Edits and/or CapCut
Comfortable working within Google Suite and Slack

Social Media Experience:

Strong understanding of organic social media content, particularly short-form video
Experience editing content specifically for Instagram Reels (major plus)

AI & Workflow:

Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Higgsfield, or similar
Ability to use AI to enhance speed, creativity, and efficiency

Creative Skills:

Ability to help develop video concepts and assist with script writing when needed
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement

Personal Traits:

Hard-working, fast, efficient, organized, and detail-oriented
Self-starter with a positive, team-first attitude
Highly communicative and responsive
Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly

Other Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
Able to work full-time in-office in Venice, CA
