Position Overview:

As a Lead VPK Teacher, you will play a crucial role in our VPK program, guiding and inspiring preschoolers on their journey to becoming lifelong learners. You will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, while working closely with parents and colleagues to support each child's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with Florida's VPK standards.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Conduct regular assessments to track children's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.

Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.

Plan and organize various activities and projects to enhance children's creativity and problem-solving skills.

Maintain open and effective communication with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and development.

Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment that complies with all state regulations.

Qualifications:

Florida Child Care Professional Credential (CDA) or VPK Endorsement.
Previous experience as a teacher in an early childhood education setting.
Strong understanding of VPK standards and curriculum development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
