GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business administration, education or
  • another related field with two (2) years work experience in training OR possess an Associate’s degree with four (4) years work experience.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and learning technology tools, required.
  • Experience with training coordination, HR support, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating performance management processes preferred.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training delivery methods.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset for tracking, reporting, and improving learning and performance data.
  • Must have the ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work well under the pressure of ensuring that requirements and specifications are met.
  • Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).
  • Must possess valid state driver’s license.
  • Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

JOB DUTIES:

  • The Learning and Development Coordinator will identify and monitor training needs in the organization.
  • Schedule, organize, and track all training activities for hourly and salaried employees across all Grucci companies.
  • Support new hire onboarding, including orientation and required safety/quality training.
  • Coordinate technical, safety, compliance, and soft-skills training sessions with internal trainers, online libraries, and/or other external vendors.
  • Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
  • Track certifications, recertifications, and skills assessments.
  • Support audit preparation and provide documented evidence of employee training.
  • Maintain training calendars and ensure departments are aware of upcoming required courses.
  • Assist HR and supervisors with development plans.
  • Help coordinate leadership development or continuous improvement training programs (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.).
  • Support culture-building initiatives and employee engagement activities related to learning.
  • Maintain skills matrices for production areas.
  • Generate training completion reports for supervisors and leadership.
  • Identify training gaps and help propose solutions.
  • Assist in developing training materials, presentations, job aids, and e-learning content.
  • Update and revise materials as processes or regulations change.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs and standardized work instructions.
  • Maintain training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist HR in administering the annual and mid-year performance review cycles.
  • Help track completion of performance evaluations for all employees.
  • Provide supervisors with guidance on using performance management tools, forms, and systems.
  • Maintain organized digital records of performance reviews and verify documentation is complete.
  • Help compile development goals identified during reviews and integrate them into training or development plans.
  • Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could generate higher productivity and safety among staff.
  • May assist in conducting required and recommended training sessions.
  • Supervise and/or deliver on-the-job skills training for new hires as needed.
  • Communicate training schedules to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Oversee training sessions and ensure the Trainers and employees have all the tools and resources they need for success.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
