Learning and Development Coordinator

Stacy Witbeck is seeking a learning and development coordinator who will support the smooth and effective functioning of in-person and online training events and special projects at Stacy Witbeck and our subsidiary Modern Railway Systems. Your duties will include designing٫ developing٫ coordinating and conducting large or small scale training programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Delivers company training programs and workshops to employees and managers and monitors their effectiveness.
  • Assists in developing e-learning courses and simulations using desktop authoring tools (Absorb, Absorb Create, and Articulate).
  • Contributes to new training program design and existing program enhancements.
  • Develops and creates lesson plans and training aids.
  • May specialize in a particular subject, training program, or function of the company.
  • Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentations.
  • Training programs may typically include topics such as supervisory/management training, work skills training, team building, and communications.
  • Leads trainings and interacts with departments across the company, with supervision and direction from company leadership.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Requirements:
Associate’s Degree required
  • - A wide array of degrees may suit this role: Administrative, HR, Psychology, Communications, those considering a construction career with experience/exposure to the labor/trades side are highly encouraged to apply
  • 2+ years of corporate experience in related field required
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word. PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Those with attention to detail, solid follow-up, and a desire to support a team will thrive in this role
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload under competing deadlines effectively
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time

Preferences:
  • 4+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience with learning management systems and web delivery tools (Absorb, Absorb Create, Articulate, Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva)
  • Experience with coordinating multiple corporate training events
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • An eagerness to learn, coachability, and determination to succeed will be an A+ candidate
