Role Purpose
The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and tracking all training activities required for project personnel and contractors working in Ras Laffan. The role ensures compliance with project competency requirements, RLIC regulations, and client standards by maintaining accurate records, coordinating training schedules, and supporting workforce mobilization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Planning & Execution
- Coordinate and schedule mandatory, technical, and safety trainings for project teams.
- Support onboarding and site‑specific induction processes for new personnel.
- Ensure all staff maintain valid certifications required for Ras Laffan access and project activities.
2. Compliance & Training Control
- Maintain updated training matrices in accordance with project, client, and RLIC requirements.
- Verify that only trained and authorized personnel are deployed to site.
- Monitor certificate expiry dates and arrange timely refresher trainings.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and certificates in digital systems.
- Prepare training reports for audits, client meetings, and manpower dossiers.
- Track training progress and highlight gaps or urgent compliance issues.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with approved training providers, RLIC centers, and third‑party institutes.
- Support subcontractor teams in fulfilling training and mobilization requirements.
- Interface with HR, HSE, and site management to ensure seamless training workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in HR, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3–7 years of experience in training coordination within Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
- Experience working in Ras Laffan Industrial City is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with RLIC training and gate pass requirements.
- Experience using training or competency management systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas training and HSE compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under tight schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tracking tools.
