of a leading global oilfield services company known for delivering advanced energy solutions and supporting major operations across the Middle East and North Africa.
We are seeking a
"Learning & Development Officer"
to support and enhance learning operations in Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Management System (LMS) & Platform Management
(in collaboration with the HRMS Supervisor)

Configure, maintain, and optimize the LMS including system settings, features, and integrations.

Manage LMS upgrades, patches, and new releases.

Monitor and ensure system performance, stability, and reliability.

Coordinate and support integrations between the LMS and HRIS or other enterprise tools.
User & Access Management
(in collaboration with the IT Management team)

Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the LMS.
-
Enroll users into courses, learning plans, and certification paths.
-
Troubleshoot login, access, and permission-related issues.
-
Maintain and update organizational structures (departments, cohorts, groups).
Training Courses & Content Management
-
Upload, organize, and maintain learning content within the LMS.
-
Create and manage courses, curricula, and certification programs.
-
Archive or retire outdated or inactive learning materials.
-
Translate business and learning requirements into effective LMS solutions.
Reporting & Analytics
-
Generate and analyze reports on enrollments, completions, scores, and compliance.
-
Track mandatory training and certification status across the organization.
-
Provide accurate learning data and insights to HR, L&D, Compliance, and leadership teams.

Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency within the LMS.
Learner & Instructor Support
(in collaboration with TDS & L&D teams)

Serve as first-line support for learners and instructors using the LMS.

Resolve technical issues and escalate complex cases when required.

Develop user guides, FAQs, and quick-reference materials.

Train instructors and content creators on effective LMS usage.
Security, Privacy & Compliance
(in collaboration with the IT Management team)

Enforce data protection, privacy, and system security standards.

Manage user permissions, audit logs, and access controls.
-
Support compliance training tracking and regulatory reporting requirements.
Process Improvement & Governance

Document LMS administration processes and standard operating procedures.
-
Recommend system and process improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
-
Test new features and support pilot enhancements.
-
Act as liaison between LMS vendors, IT, HR, and L&D stakeholders.
Requirements:

4–6 years of experience
in Learning & Development.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
-
Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems
(LMS) is a must.
-
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and digital learning tools.
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
-
Excellent English communication skills.
-
Oil & Gas
background is highly preferred.
