About the Role
HopeTree Family Services is seeking a dynamic and passionate Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. This role partners closely with the Director of Learning & Development to empower employees across the organization to succeed and exceed expectations in their roles.

What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain engaging training and performance support materials
- Facilitate new hire orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training programs
- Administer and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Run reports and manage user/content updates within the LMS
- Partner with leadership to identify performance gaps and implement solutions
- Travel to HopeTree locations across the state (approximately 25%)
- Certify and recertify staff in:
- CPR/First Aid/AED
- Therapeutic Options (TOVA)
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED and Therapeutic Options will be provided.
What We’re Looking ForEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting learning and development programs
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred
- Strong instructional design and organizational development skills

- Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote)
- HRIS systems and electronic record systems
- Strong data entry skills
