About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on instructional designer who can turn complex technical topics into clear, engaging, production-ready learning experiences. You’ll work end-to-end—from partnering with content experts, through instructional design and build, to QA and continuous improvement. This role requires an experienced individual who is technically capable and comfortable working with complex materials and systems.

Responsibilities

Design and build end-to-end digital learning experiences: concept storyboard build QA
  • iteration.
  • Convert expert input into learner-friendly content that is structured, visual, and practical (not overwhelming).
  • Develop interactive e-learning modules in Articulate Storyline (must), including variable-driven logic and rich interactions.
  • Manage learning content in an LMS environment (uploading, structuring, versioning, updates, tracking completion/engagement).
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate accuracy, refine explanations, and close gaps.
  • Produce clean, reusable learning assets and maintain documentation to ensure consistency and facilitate future updates.
  • Support continuous improvement: fix issues, update content, and improve experiences based on feedback and data.

Requirements:

Requirements (Must-have)

  • Hands-on mindset: you build things yourself, end-to-end.
  • Proven experience with Articulate Storyline (required).
  • Experience designing learning for complex technical domains (cybersecurity is a strong advantage).
  • Strong technical capability and comfort troubleshooting digital experiences (logic, interactions, “Why isn’t this working?”).
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and independently, especially new tools and workflows.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and translating their knowledge into learning content.
  • End-to-end ownership: can take responsibility for outcomes and delivery quality.
  • The role requires hands-on experience with industry tools including Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, NotebookLM, Envato, ElevenLabs, Runway, Shutterstock, and OpenArt for content creation, design, and AI-assisted development.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience creating video content using any tools (recording, editing, or animation)—tool-agnostic, outcome-focused.
  • Familiarity with security training, developer enablement, or technical education platforms.

  • You ramp up fast on new tools and workflows without needing constant guidance.
  • Your storyline develops are stable, polished, and reusable.
