Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

• Work alongside class teacher to identify 'at risk' students and those performing below the expected level.
• Alongside the class teacher and parents, develop programmes to meet the academic needs of identified students.
• Provide support for identified students either in class or in a withdrawal programme.
• Assist the class teacher to monitor student progress.
• Assist with carrying out educational assessments for targeted students.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collect and analyse data and work collaboratively in a team.
