Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a 7-year-old boy with ADHD studying in a CBSE school in Al Warqa, Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide academic and emotional support during school hours, helping him reach his full potential in a positive and structured learning environment.

Candidates must currently reside in Dubai. Applicants living near Al Warqa area will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the student with learning needs in school during school timings.
• Work closely with class teachers to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-to-one support inside the classroom.
• Assist in developing social, behavioral, and communication skills.
• Help the student stay focused, organised, and engaged during lessons.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behavior strategies.
• Monitor daily progress and share regular feedback with parents.
• Support emotional regulation and apply ADHD-friendly learning strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Special Education, ABA, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience supporting children with ADHD is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting child development.
• Ability to create a structured and supportive learning environment.
