Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and qualified Lecturer in Business Studies to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting student learning, and contributing to the academic development of business-related programmes.

This position is with a new private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in partnership with a UK university. The institution is committed to delivering high-quality, internationally aligned education and offers lecturers the opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of new academic programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in Business-related subjects
• Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with programme requirements
• Assess and grade student coursework, assignments, and examinations
• Provide academic guidance and academic support to students
• Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings
• Ensure teaching quality aligns with institutional and regulatory standards
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment

Subjects May Include (depending on expertise):

• Principles of Management
• Business Fundamentals
• Marketing
• Accounting & Finance
• Entrepreneurship
• Business Ethics
• Organisational Behaviour

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• Teaching experience at university or higher education level (preferred)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and support students from diverse academic backgrounds

Desirable:

• PhD or professional doctorate (or currently pursuing)
• Experience with UK-style or international higher education systems
• Experience in curriculum development or academic quality assurance
