Legal Advisor

• Conduct factual investigations and study legal documentation to determine causes of action and case research for legal matters. • Prepare and review legal documentation including tender invitation, contractual agreements, legal correspondence, policy regulations and other associated tasks.• Formulate recommendations; provide advice and guidance pertaining to legal matters arising within the program.• Provide legal counsel for program legal issues including participation and negotiation for all legal matters.• Represent the company at local courts and tribunals for defense and arbitration cases.• Maintain databases on all carried out legal research. Prepare tender legal documents, review the contracts and provide legal advice in order to ascertain the legal issues affecting the company, and ensure compliance with their terms and legal requirements.• Ensure company policies and procedures are protecting the company's legal interest and conform to the company's principles and the laws. Maintain compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal requirements of the company and ensure that the provision of legal advice, policies, and procedures is in line with the terms and legal requirements.• Review administrative policies and procedures and other legal documents within the company and advice on modifications and amendments ensuring application of country law, legal rulings and regulations.• Provide general analysis of likely outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.• Perform other job related duties.
