Legal Affairs Senior Specialist

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As a Legal Affairs Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting legal professionals—including lawyers, paralegals, and corporate legal teams—by contributing to case preparation, legal strategy development, and ensuring access to accurate and up-to-date legal information. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal reviews, drafting and analyzing contracts, and providing legal opinions and services related to ARDCO’s various agreements and business operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in legal opinions on all matters affecting ARDCO across all its departments and businesses, as required, in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Assist in draft and review various agreements and provide counsel and support, in coordination with the various Division Heads and Department Managers of ARDCO.
  • Promote the maximum use of the Legal Affairs division for all legal work to minimize ARDCO’s use of external counsel, and manage relationships with external counsel.
  • Assist in managing special contracts and agreements for ARDCO (i.e., major purchasing agreements, and major sales agreements).
  • Review joint venture/strategic partnership agreements.
  • Prepare and maintain records required by law and assist ARDCO in ensuring that the company conducts its business in a legal and proper manner.
  • Ensure that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted.
  • Ensure all activities accepted by ARDCO comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Provide counsel to management and staff on existing Saudi laws.
  • Receive and answer legal consultations from all ARDCO’s departments.
  • Assist in advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.
  • Represent ARDCO in various court proceedings, involving cases filed against defaulting customers and labour disputes, when required.
  • Provide counsel and legal service on contracts related to any new investments, products, etc…
  • Review and approve agreements and contracts concerning vendors, service providers and contractors.


Education & Experience

  • LLB (Bachelor’s in Law) required; LLM (Master’s in Law) preferred.
  • Experience in corporate, finance, regulatory, and real estate law.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal research and analysis
  • MOJ Certificate
  • Experience working with publicly listed companies.
  • Proficiency in corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
