The Role:


To support the Legal & Governance Manager in implementing and maintaining effective corporate governance practices aligned with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices. The role includes maintaining governance documentation and supporting Board and Committee operations.


Challenges:

To ensure governance frameworks are consistently updated, regulatory requirements are met, and governance processes are efficiently executed while enabling transparency and accountability.


Main Tasks:

1. Maintain and regularly update corporate governance policies, charters, and frameworks.

2. Support Board and Committee meeting preparation, including documentation, agenda coordination, and minute-taking.

3. Track and assess regulatory and legal changes impacting corporate governance practices.

4. Coordinate governance-related internal audits and external reporting requirements.

5. Liaise with regulatory bodies, internal departments, and external consultants on governance matters.

6. Ensure proper filing and retrieval of governance-related documents and records.

7. Assist in developing awareness materials and training related to governance.


Technical / Functional Skills Required:

1. Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks and regulatory environments.

2. Excellent organizational and document management skills.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

5. Knowledge of legal documentation is a plus.

Experience Required:
