About Us:
We are a dedicated Social Security Disability law firm committed to helping individuals navigate the complex disability claims process. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional service and advocacy for our clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-orientedLegal Assistantto join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member.
  • Conduct initial client intake when a paralegal is unavailable.
  • Request medical records and handle related invoice payments.
  • Scan and upload mail to claimant folders in the case management system.
  • Prepare and send outgoing mail to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and clients.
  • Check and manage incoming faxes and emails on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files in our case management software.
  • Perform other administrative or legal support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain excellent attendance.
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is a plus, but not required—we will provide on-the-job training.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn case management software, Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
