Located just off the museum square in Downtown Bloomington, Kelly & Castagna is a woman-owned plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. We represent individuals injured through no fault of their own in cases ranging from car crashes, slip and fall, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and wrongful death.

About the Role

A legal assistant at Kelly & Castagna is responsible for assisting our attorneys with their cases to ensure our clients receive the best possible representation. Some of the responsibilities specific to this job include drafting legal documents, scheduling meetings for the attorneys, organizing and maintaining physical and electronic case files, and communicating with our clients. We are looking for a part-time employee to join us starting in January.

Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate has strong organizational and follow-through skills. Orderly and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work with accuracy and efficiency, while staying focused. Ability to work independently once trained, take initiative, problem-solve using sound judgment, and handle confidential and sensitive information. Bachelor’s or Associate degree is preferred, excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must!
