Legal Assistant

Position: Legal Assistant

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a background in law, particularly with knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, and possess strong legal drafting and administrative skills. The candidate must be proactive, professional, and willing to work and learn in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and drafting legal documents, contracts, agreements, proposals, and correspondence
  • Support the legal team in matters related to business law, civil law, and corporate legal matters
  • Conduct legal research related to UAE laws and regulations
  • Organize and maintain legal files, records, and documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, government authorities, and external parties when required
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and legal summaries
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the legal department

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of UAE laws and legal procedures
  • Experience or familiarity with legal drafting, proposals, business law, and civil law
  • Strong communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional attitude with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a legal consultancy, law firm, or corporate legal department is an advantage
  • Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate
