Job Description

We are seeking a competent and reliable Legal Assistant with experience in immigration law to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have a proven track record in a law firm setting. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide top-tier customer service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documentation
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other professionals in both English and Spanish
• Manage case files, deadlines, and correspondence efficiently
• Draft cover letters and legal correspondence
• Gather and organize supporting evidence for cases
• Schedule client appointments and maintain office calendar
• Provide high-quality customer service with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm setting (immigration law preferred)
• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven reliability and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong customer service skills and a client-focused mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software is a plus
